Yes, a very sunny morning family photo shoot at Blyth beach in September. It has been some time since I have written a blog about my photo shoots. My only excuse is due to being a little bit busy, which is good! So, here are the Hipkiss family who chose to have their family portrait photographs taken at a location that they love to visit, Blyth beach. I myself have only ever been their once before and that was on a bike cycling past. I had a chance to check out Blyth beach and like all North East coastlines it did not disappoint.

I must admit I was a bit wary about how the weather might turn out. Luckily it was a lovely sunny day. Not my favourite kind of weather, due to the possible problems with bad shadows. Obviously, I know that the Hipkiss family wanted a nice sunny day but I would have preferred a few more clouds. However, this did become a big problem at all. I decided to use my strobe light and reflector to fill in any shadows that may have occurred. There is always a way to find a great photograph.

A great day had by all and we got some great family photographs for the Hipkiss family to cherish. A big thank you to Sarah, Rob, Ben and Rose for making me feel welcome and making the photo shoot go so well. 🙂
