Actor and Model Portfolio Photography.

A little bit of a a side line business.

My nephew who is looking to get into acting and a bit of modelling asked me if I could take a few shots for him to use for acting and modelling angencies. Not a problem I said. I took my lighting set up and camera (of course) to his parents house and began to take the photographs. This is a lot easier said then done. Having not doen this kind of photography before, I know, am I missing out on a market here or what?

Luckily my nephew Luke knew the look he wanted and what was needed for agencies. The full face shot, head and shoulders shot and the full length type of pose. I took as many photographs as I could. Then picked out the best in post production. Personally think they turned out pretty well considering it was my first go at this style of photography. Normally I would kind of take the lead doing portrait and wedding photography but this time I was learning which pose was needed. There is no point me telling someone to look down and look dramatic when all the agency want is too see your face, profile etc. So, yes, very interesting and enjoyable to do.
